Melbourne-based artist Kayley Martinez explores the world of light and colour. Through interactive, immersive installations, Martinez creates playful experiences that rekindle the inner child, evoking joy and wonder. Drawn from the fusion of physics, her Latin heritage, and her Christian faith, Martinez' work transcends the ordinary. It celebrates curiosity, where vibrant hues merge with reflective forms. From inception to fruition, play is at the heart of her process, inviting exploration and yielding art that ignites the soul with awe.

“I am fascinated by the idea of light as a material; how it can be warped, reflected, and stretched into colours. I explore lights’ unique ability to rekindle awe, wonder and the curiosity of our inner child. Using colour, I create a space of awe and wonder that effects the soul.“
