Be Brave, 2017

Public Performance. Warrandyte, Melbourne

Dozens of mirrored pieces covered Kayley’s face in her 48-minute performance, Be Brave. The audience was asked to “Be brave and please remove a mirror.“ Passersby of all ages engaged in the work, taking off a mirror and either, threw, kept or returned the mirror piece, one even placed it on their own face. Over time the Artist’s face was fully revealed. The works speaks to how time and relationships often influence and transform our identity.
