Inspired by the saturated hues of South-American architecture, Casas Vivas, captures the vibrancy and sound of everyday life El Salvador, Martinez’ country of heritage. The video shifts from day, to rainfall, to night, with its windows illuminated. Martinez uses colour, sound and childlike forms to express the innate youth and joy embedded within Latin culture.
